When Eli Manning was in his prime, he was like a needle to the eye for Tom Brady. The NFL GOAT is short of two Super Bowl wins, and the Ex-Giants QB is the sole reason. He also snapped the Patriots’ undefeated season in 2007. Manning has a prime reason to mock TB12 over that situation. However, he chose the high road for the Buccaneers quarterback.

Eli Manning discusses going into disguise as Chad Powers for the Penn State football team, being confused for Michael Phelps, and The Eli Manning Show on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Fallon then asked the former QB whether he still talks to Brady about the Super Bowl setbacks.

Eli Manning mentioned, “I see Tom, and we’re friendly. And I never bring it up to him because, I mean, the guy’s got seven Super Bowl rings. He’s MVP. I have no bragging rights anywhere near him. But he will bring up the 2007 game, when they were undefeated. They would have gone down as the greatest team of all time and go undefeated, and he can’t say that now. And he blames me. And I’m okay with that. I can accept that. I took one for the team, you know?”

Tom Brady has had ten Super Bowl appearances, and he faced Eli Manning in two in Super Bowl XLII and XLVI. Unfortunately, Brady lost both of them.

However, Manning once mentioned in the Games with Names Podcast that Tom Brady hates the Mannings and their mother. He would have won twelve Super Bowls if it wasn’t for Olivia Manning.

The Phelps-Manning similarity is recognizable. However, the former Giants QB was once mistaken for someone he has no resemblance to. The former quarterback worked at a hot dog van for a promotional video for The Eli Manning Show. When he inquired about his show, the customers did not know. That is when a female customer made an unrealistic comparison of him with Tom Brady.

When she left after meeting the famed quarterback, she asked her friend, “Was I supposed to know who that was? Oh! Tom Brady?” Eli then tweeted that it hurt his feelings. But the former QB remains a big deal in the broadcasting sector, and he would continue with the second season of his show.
