‘I’m Beyond Grateful’: Tom Brady Finally Acknowledges New England Patriots After Snubbing Them in Retirement Address

It is finally official. Tom Brady has announced his retirement from football. It has left a deep hole in the hearts of football fans all around the world. Tom Brady will, without a doubt, go down as the greatest football player in the history of the NFL; they don’t call him the GOAT for nothing. Fans will also remember him as one of the best Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterbacks in history. But what about the New England Patriots?
Brady snubbed them during his retirement announcement. In the video uploaded by the Bucs, he mentioned changing teams but didn’t name the Pats. In a recent tweet, Tom has finally acknowledged this and thanked the Patriots Nation.

It all started in the NFL draft of the year 2000. The New England Patriots selected a 22-year-old kid from Cali. But little did they know that their 199th overall pick would go on to be the greatest NFL player of all time. Brady spent almost 20 years with the franchise. In those two decades, he did things that will never probably be replicated.

While announcing his retirement, Brady’s primary focus was Tampa Bay. He did not even address the Patriots once. This made some fans question Tom Brady’s affection for his previous team.
In a recent tweet, Tom has finally mentioned the Patriots and expressed his love for the New England fans. The Patriots uploaded the statement of their CEO Robert Kraft. Brady replied to the tweet and wrote, “Thank You Patriots Nation. I’m beyond grateful. Love you all.”
Some New England fans found their peace, while others may never forgive Tom Brady for not mentioning the Patriots.
