Only a handful of analysts could have predicted the impact that Tom Brady made on the NFC South franchise, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in 2020.

The veteran NFL quarterback signed a 2-year deal worth more than $60 million last year. After a mixed start to his debut Buccaneers campaign, Brady managed to find his mojo in the post-season.

The 43-year-old led Tampa Bay to their 2nd-ever Super Bowl title with a 31-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Brady threw for 201 yards with 3 passing touchdowns as the Bucs became the first team to lift the Lombardi Trophy on home soil.

“But, you know, it means you’re willing to take a pay cut from last year like I found that hard to believe. So we’ll see what the actual number is, you know, and then and then you have Antonio Brown, who wants to be back with the Bucs,” Rapoport concluded.

Brady concluded his 2020 NFL campaign with 4,600+ passing yards, 40+ passing TDs against 12 interceptions. He will hope to build on that display when the 2021 NFL kicks offs in September.
