Once a star in the streets of Las Vegas, Derek Carr’s time with the LA Raiders has come to an unceremonious end. And the star quarterback has addressed the mystery surrounding his exit from the franchise. Carr played the majority of the 2022 season under center for the Raiders like he has done for numerous years. But the team benched him for the final two games, leading to his ultimate exit.
Derek Carr finally broke his silence on his mysterious exit from the Raiders camp towards the end of the 2022 regular season. While speaking in a church setting in the City of Las Vegas, the star QB refused to point fingers at anyone.

Carr said that it is easy to point fingers and a lot of people are doing it for him. “It’s easy to point the finger at other people. It’s easy to blame others. Trust me, I’ve got a lot of family members trying to do that for me,” Carr said, according to raidersbeat.com.
But he refused to point any fingers. Carr said that he just wants to be a better version of himself going forward. “But I say, you know what, I’m not going to do that. That’s comfortable for me. That really could be a comfortable place but I’m going to step out of that. I’m going to say I just can’t wait to be better myself,” Carr continued.

The QB played for the franchise for nine seasons after joining the team as a second-round pick in the 2014 draft. He had his highs and lows with the franchise, but nobody expected him to go in the way he did. He is an elite QB and will surely land on his feet wherever he goes. The Washington Commanders have emerged as one of the likely destinations.
