The 2020 NFL season is turning out to be a complete nightmare for Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys. A season-ending injury to franchise quarterback Dak Prescott was followed by an embarrassing 38-10 loss to Kyler Murray’s Arizona Cardinals in Week Six. Reports of an inner conflict began to emerge earlier this week.

A bunch of unnamed Dallas Cowboys players went on record and told NFL Network’s Jen Slater that McCarthy’s coaching staff ‘don’t know what they’re doing’. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and LB Leighton Vander Esch lashed out at these reports, as did Mike McCarthy. But, there’s another popular Cowboys figure who has a problem with how the Cowboys dressing room is in complete turmoil due to some rotten apples.

Johnson was not too pleased by the comments ‘allegedly’ made by some players, and that was evident in the above interview.

He said, “Total BS. If you’re not gonna put your name on in it, keep your mouth shut and play. You look at these defensive players, maybe they’re not quite as good as they think they are. Last few years…they had high energy coaches and they over-achieved. Now, they went from a 4-3 to a 3-4. Some of these defense players don’t really know what they’re doing, they’re not motivated, and they’re under-achieving.”

“Now, I still think this team is talented enough to win the NFC East. If that offensive line, even though they’ve got a ton of injuries, can protect Andy Dalton, those receivers will score a bunch of points,” Johnson said on the show.
