The fame of the NFL and its franchises is growing exponentially with each passing day. As a result, their brand value also increased in such a proportion that most of the teams are worth Billions of dollars. Recently, the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed the price at which he would wish to sell off his franchise ownership.

The 79-year-old LA businessman believes that his Cowboys are worth more than $10 Billion in the current open market. But there is a problem. Jones doesn’t want to sell off the franchise any time soon. He vowed that he won’t make anyone else the owner of the team. He wouldn’t take such chances ever.

Calvin Watkins of the Dallas News was the first person to disclose this analysis. “But let me make this very clear,” Jones said told Peter King of NBC Sports. “I’ll say it definitively. I will never do it. I will never sell the Cowboys. Ever.” he added to his statement.

However, these figures don’t match the projections of other sources. According to Forbes, the Cowboys are valued at $6.5 Billion, which is $1.5 Billion greater than other franchises.

NFL Network’s consultant and businessman Marc Ganis believes that Jerry Jones will get $8.5 Billion if he sells the team. No doubt, the valuation of $10 Billion raised many eyebrows, the franchise can easily reach this projected mark soon.

Apart from Jerry Jones boasting of the Cowboys’ worth, which are the other richest NFL teams?

The AFC West team Denver Broncos is reportedly waiting for a new buyer. It is expected that the team might go for a record $5 billion. According to a media outlet, the top 20 NFL teams are valued at between $3.2 and $6.5 billion. Keeping Jones’ evaluation aside, the Dallas Cowboys topped the list and became the first team in NFL history to reach a projected value of $6.5 Billion.
