Tom Brady threw for 201 yards with 3 passing touchdowns as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won their second Super Bowl title. The 43-year old veteran was at his dominant best as the home team defeated defending champions, Kansas City Chiefs, by a 9-31 margin. This was Brady’s 7th Super Bowl ring and his first with the Bucs.
He won 6 Super Bowls while playing for New England Patriots under the tutelage of coach Bill Belichick. In doing so, Brady is now the undisputable ‘winningest’ quarterback in the league. Tom Brady-led Buccaneers successfully defeated the likes of Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, and Patrick Mahomes in post-season this year.

San Francisco 49ers legend Jerry Rice featured on today’s segment of popular radio show 95.7 The Game. The HOFer is often referred to as ‘the greatest footballer’ to ever play the game. But he gladly admitted that the above title suits Brady more than himself.

He said, “I don’t have seven Super Bowl rings, but I think I played in an era when football was more of a contact sport. You’re seeing a lot of that now — players are protected. When you have seven rings, you’re doing something right. I think with Brady, he still wants to play.”

“He said something about playing until he’s 45. I think he can do it now in this league because players are so much more protected. So, yeah, he can have that GOAT status. I never wanted that status anyhow,” Rice said via ProFootballTalk this week.

Brady threw for 4,600+ yards with 40 passing touchdowns in regular season as the Bucs finished second in the NFC South. He revealed that he will be back to fight for another Championship ring in 2021 and we couldn’t be more excited.
