Joe Burrow Makes Commitment to Win Super Bowl For Ohio: “Personally It Would Be Being a Part of Bringing a Super Bowl to a Team That Hasn’t Ever Won One”
On Sunday, the Joe Burrow-led Cincinnati Bengals will face the Los Angeles Rams at the SoFi Stadium. The young quarterback has been instrumental in helping his teams reach the Super Bowl. As a result, he appeared to converse on the Super Bowl LVI Opening Night. Joe Burrow expressed his pride about bringing the Vince Lombardi Trophy to Ohio.
The biggest sports event in the United States will pit Joe Burrow against Matt Stafford on Sunday. The two players were ecstatic to be playing in the Super Bowl. For Burrow, however, it will be a matter of pride to be part of a team that won the first Super Bowl in the franchise’s history. At the Opening Night, Joe was asked what it will mean to him and to the Ohio state if he wins the Lombardi Trophy.

Joe has always expressed pride in the state where he grew up. He said, “Well, to me personally it would be being a part of bringing a Super Bowl to a team that hasn’t ever won one. And growing up in Ohio, I understand how important that is to the state into this region.”

The Cincinnati Bengals have never won a Super Bowl. Furthermore, their last appearance in the Super Bowl was in 1989, 33 years ago. Until now, they have never made it back to the Super Bowl after losing to the San Francisco 49ers in 1989.

Nevertheless, the young Ohioan quarterback has accomplished that has not been possible for years. Burrow led the Cincinnati Bengals to a chance at their first victory in Super Bowl.
