Drew Rosenhaus, the agent of Joe Haden, informed ESPN reporter Adam Schefter of this decision on Tuesday. Haden will reportedly sign a one-day contract with the Cleveland Browns, where he started his NFL journey 12 years ago.

Haden played for the Browns for seven seasons starting from 2010 to 2017 as a cornerback. After that, the Browns’ management released him and he subsequently joined the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cleveland Browns picked Joe Haden as the 7th pick overall in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft. Although he started his career as a backup, Haden soon rose to prominence through consistently impressive displays. In 2011, the Browns HC Pat Shurmur named him as the starting cornerback. Mild stuttering occurred in his career in 2012 when he tested positive for the performance-enhancing drug Adderall. As the consequence, the NFL authority suspended him for four weeks.
