Sean McVay’s Los Angeles Rams have been one of the surprise packages of the 2020 NFL season thus far. Along with them, the AFC East franchise, Buffalo Bills, have also been impressive over the last couple of weeks. A large factor behind that is the rise of quarterback Josh Allen in 2020.

The Wyoming College graduate currently leads the league in passing with 727 passing yards. He also has six touchdowns against zero interceptions. The Bills remain unbeaten in the NFL. However, they will host an in-form Los Angeles Rams outfit on Sunday.

Here’s what certain LA Rams defensive stars said about Josh Allen ahead of their Week Three showdown at the Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Jalen Ramsey and Josh Allen have a bit of history between themselves. Back in 2018, Ramsey called Josh ‘Trash’ in an interview with Sports Illustrated. The young quarterback responded on the field by beating the Rams that season. He also went on to sign this controversial photograph with the caption, ‘Hey Ramsey, am I still trash?’

However, after signing for the Rams, Ramsey seems to have changed his opinion on Allen. While talking about Sunday’s game, Ramsey was quizzed about the Bills quarterback.

He replied, “He presents challenges. Every week you have to face a new challenge, and this is our third week so we have to face the challenge of him and that Bills’ offense.

“He has some weapons around him. He can make plays running the ball and extending plays, etc, etc. … Kind of the things everyone knows about him.

“But I’m confident in what I can do and this Rams’ defense can do, and that’s kind of what matters the most to me and the guys around here,” Ramsey said in a recent interview.

NFL Top 100 star, Aaron Donald, is also wary of the threat posed by Allen. Here’s what he said about the young quarterback making waves across the league this year.

“He’s a big quarterback that’s mobile, that plays hard. He will run through you, run past you, and he will make you miss. He can do it all.

“So, when you get him you better come with your big boy pads and find a way to get him to the ground. You have to play physical, you’ve got to play hard and you’ve got to be the physical guy when it comes to getting him down,” Donald added.

The high-flying Rams and the Buffalo Bills are yet to taste defeat in the league this season. Both these sides have shown some impressive defensive displays in the opening weeks of the regular season.
