Kyler Murray Condemns NFL Madden 21 Over Aaron Rodgers’ Rating

Aaron Rodgers has been one of the most highly-rated quarterbacks in the NFL over the last decade. The Green Bay Packers man is touted as one of the more gifted QBs to feature in the NFL. However, make no mistake, he has his fair share of haters as well who often claim that Rodgers is ‘overrated’.

Earlier this week, Madden NFL revealed their ratings for next year’s edition of the game. Patrick Mahomes topped the list as he entered the 99 Club for the first time in his three-year stint in the league. The list of Top-10 QBs in NFL Madden 21 includes Pat Mahomes, Seattle Seahawks’ Russel Wilson, the legendary Tom Brady, and of course, reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson.

Green Bay Packers great Aaron Rodgers also made the Top-10 cut. But Arizona Cardinals’ Kyler Murray was not happy with how low Rodgers was rated in Madden NFL 21.

Kyler Murray takes a dig at Madden NFL 21 over Aaron Rodgers’ poor rating

Green Bay Packers great – Aaron Rodgers – was given a rating of 89 in Madden 21. Drew Brees (93) and Tom Brady (90) were both ranked above Rodgers in the game despite being significantly older to him. Kyler Murray posted the above Tweet condemning the ‘disrespect’ shown to Rodgers by Madden 21 creators – EA Sports.

The two-time NFL MVP threw for 4,000+ yards last season and made 26 TDs. He also has the best touchdown-to-interception ratio in the league’s history at 4.23. The 36-year old also holds the lowest career interception percentage at 1.5 percent.

Fans also unhappy over Dak Prescott and Carson Wentz ratings

Dallas Cowboys’ Dak Prescott and Philadelphia Eagles’ Carson Wentz were both handed an overall rating of 84. Fans took to social media to express their frustration over the same. Especially in the case of Carson Wentz. League fanatics argued that Wentz carried a rather inexperienced and underperforming Eagles side on his shoulders in 2019 for which he deserved some recognition.
