Jalen Ramsey moved to the Los Angeles Rams in October 2019. He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016 as the fifth overall draft. However, after some on-field incidents with Head Coach Doug Marrone, the Jags decided to part ways with their young star.
He was traded to the Rams in exchange for a 2020 first-round pick (K’Lavon Chaisson), a 2021 first-round pick, and a 2021 fourth-round pick.
Now, the Rams have gone on to reportedly tie down Ramsey on a long-term deal. The 25-year-old defensive star is all set to become one of the top earners in the league. Here’s more on Ramsey’s new contract with the Rams.

Here’s what Sean McVay had to say about his star cornerback Jalen Ramsey and teammate, Cam Akers.
“Yeah, I think it’s good. Those guys have a good relationship going back to Florida State and the appreciation they have for their Florida State background. I think Jalen cares a lot about Cam and he’s welcomed him to the NFL, if you will.
“But, those guys, I think it was a good physical, smart, real play — we like those. We just don’t want to take those shots from the side. It was a frontal shot, and that’s what’s made Jalen a really special corner,” McVay said in an interview.
