Los Angeles Rams safety Eric Weddle has been a factor in their Super Bowl run than he might have even imagined. The player joined the training squad almost two seasons after his initial retirement. It was shocking news for many Rams fans that Weddle will join them on their playoff run.
He saw a growing impact in every single playoff game since his return. The 37-year-old safety played in all the 50 snaps in their NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers. He leads the Rams with 9 tackles and a tackle for loss defensively in a crucial must-win game.
