Dallas Cowboys endured a tough season under head coach Mike McCarthy in 2020. They finished third in the NFC East with a 6-10 record and were only ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles. An injury to Dak Prescott in Week 5, and an overall poor defensive showing, meant the Cowboys failed to make the playoffs yet again.

They last made the NFL post-season in 2018. Previously, the Cowboys have been in the playoffs a total of 33 times in their 61 seasons in the NFL. Now, after years of being away from the Super Bowl, Jerry Jones is hungry for a Super Bowl Trophy. Is 2021 the year that the drought will end?

He said, “Well, I fall for this all the time, but I’m gonna go with the Cowboys based on the division they’re in. And you know, I know it’s like I can’t get the Dak Prescott press conference out of my head where it’s a two-hour long affair and we’re panning over to five Lombardi trophies from, you know, 25 years ago, but I would say this, like Dak Prescott threw for 90 almost 1900 yards in five games.”

“They have a top-five passing attack. And if Dan Quinn, who I really believe in, can come in and patch up that defense, I think you can win that division and I think the Cowboys had the most talent of all the four teams,” Sessler said earlier today.

The Cowboys currently own the 10th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. They are reportedly looking for defensive reinforcements this summer and have their eyes set on Alabama cornerback Patrick Surtain II.
