Marshon Lattimore has been a defensive stalwart for New Orleans Saints since 2017. It has been four years since Lattimore joined the New Orleans-based franchise. In these 4 years, Lattimore has been named the Defensive Rookie of the Year, has recorded an impressive 10 career interceptions and 55 passes defensed in his 58 match career so far.

The defensive rookie was on the last year of his contract for the New Orleans Saints. For a rookie with consistent quality performances in his kitty, the most logical step for any team would be to extend his contract with a raise in his wages. This is exactly what New Orleans Saints did.
