Matthew Stafford has finally become a Super Bowl Champion. It took him just one season with the Los Angeles Rams to make it happen. And boy, what a season it was for him. He kept on proving his critics wrong. It’s truly his moment to cherish.

The veteran quarterback wins his first Super Bowl on his very first visit. In fact, it was the first time in his career that he had played the Divisional Round. He displayed that even though he had 12 unfruitful years with the Detroit Lions; he just needed a team with a resonating vision to succeed.

Now that he has all the glory, he will lose no chance to jab his rivals starting with Joe Burrow. Stafford, during his Super Bowl parade on Wednesday, was in his zone. He pulled out a thick cigar while he celebrated with the rest of his teammates on the bus. Was it not a cheeky attempt to jab the Cincy QB Joe Burrow? It certainly looks so.

Burrow had his ‘Get the Gat’ moment after beating the Mahomes led Chiefs at the AFC Championship game. He was surely looking forward to it once again after winning the big game, but fate had other plans. The Rams downed the Bengals by 23-20 at the Super Bowl LVI. And now it’s Stafford having a cheeky shot at Burrow after defeating him in the SoFi Stadium.

Matthew finished the Super Bowl 56 with 26 passes in 40 attempts covering 283 yards for three touchdowns and two interceptions. Moreover, his composed demeanor was something that came in handy for the Rams. Stafford’s impressive confidence and resilience gave his peers the needed boost to outperform the Bengals.
