Slowly but steadily, Justin Jefferson is climbing up the ladder in the list of favorites for this year’s ROTY award. After impressing in the Week 12 win over the Carolina Panthers, the former LSU wide receiver had another stellar outing last weekend against the Jaguars.
On 9 receptions, Jefferson had 121 receiving yards with 1 receiving TD. He is definitely one of the favorites to bag the coveted rookie honor.

However, the latter suffered multiple injuries in the game against Washington Football Team in Week 11. Joe Burrow remains ruled out till the latter half of the 2021 season, leaving Herbert as the frontrunner for the ROTY award.
But another contender that emerged for the title is a former University of Alabama QB, Tua Tagovailoa. The Hawaii-born athlete made his way to a 3-0 record as a starter for the Miami Dolphins.
But Tua was dealing with a thumb injury and missed out on a game in Week 12. However, he returned this weekend and led the Dolphins to a commanding 19-7 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Another strong display against the in-form Kansas City Chiefs will make Tua a definite candidate for the ROTY title.
