New York Giants HC Fires Shots at Ron Rivera and WFT: ‘This Ain’t Some Clown Show’

Who doesn’t love a little trash-talking before a match? The head coach of the Giants, Joe Judge, and the HC of the Washington Football Team (WFT), Ron Rivera, did just that. The New York Giants’ HC might have taken things a bit too far while calling out Ron Rivera. 

The WFT HC has given Joe a crisp response. Things have gotten a bit heated up between both sides. The Week 18 game between the two would be interesting to watch. Which head coach will reign supreme? Who will be able to back up his words? Or will someone give a response with actions over words?

Ron Rivera replies to Joe Judge’s comments

The Giants lost their fourth game in a row last week. With a score of 29-3, the Chicago Bears beat New York. This loss might have made the head coach mad. He took a shot at his next opponent. With the loss against the Bears, the Giants have dropped their record to 4-12.

Joe Judge made a comment on Ron Rivera. He told the reporters, “This ain’t a team that’s having fistfights on the sidelines,” Joe adds, “This ain’t some clown show organization or something else, Okay?” This comment was addressing the fistfight between Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne of the WFT. The players got a bit heated up during the Cowboys game. Washington was losing 28-7 when the fight broke out on the sidelines.

To Judge’s comments, Ron Rivera replied, “Talk about your own team.” This was a savage one-line reply to Joe Judge. Rivera advised Joe to focus on his own team and do not take things out of context. 

Washington and New York’s current season

Both the teams had high hopes for the 2021 season. They expected to do big things this season. The Washington Football Team is currently third in the NFC East division. They have a record of 6-10. The New York Giants, on the other hand, is not doing too great themselves. They are one position behind WFT in the NFC East division. The Giants, with a record of 4-12 sit at the bottom of the table.

It is safe to say that both the teams are out of the playoffs race. It does not matter who wins tonight. Both of them will be packing their bags after the game. Maybe next season will bring them better results.
