Matt LaFleur’s Green Bay Packers and the Dak Prescott-led Dallas Cowboys started the season with contrasting predictions from football pundits. The Packers and Aaron Rodgers failed to strengthen in crucial areas over the summer. They were tipped to have a below-par season with a supposedly ‘aging’ Aaron Rodgers.
On the other hand, former Green Bay Boss Mike McCarthy’s appointment in Dallas signaled the start of a new era. The arrivals of CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs in addition to the emergence of Dak Prescott transformed the Cowboys into Super Bowl contenders.
However, these predictions have certainly not aged well.

The Packers have done quite alright in LaFleur’s second season as Head Coach. They top the NFC North Division with a 5-2 record; whereas the Cowboys are third in the NFC East with a 2-5 record heading into Week 8.

He said, “I would tomorrow and I’ve got a team, the Green Bay Packers….this is a perfect deal. Dallas needs picks, Dallas needs to rebuild, they need picks, they don’t need wide receivers.
“Green Bay doesn’t need picks. You got two more, three more elite years with Aaron Rodgers, you need weapons for Aaron.

“You don’t need developing players, you just need more weapons. Same situation Tampa is in, that’s why they’re getting Antonio Brown. You can’t just sit, wait and develop people…get Aaron stars now,” Cowherd said on the show.
Cooper can definitely transition into the Packers offensive system, and we doubt Rodgers will be against his arrival in Wisconsin. Whereas the Cowboys need a major defensive rejig in the 2021 offseason. This trade deal could solve both their problems with considerable ease.
