The Commanders honored their star athlete Sean Taylor on Sunday at FedEx Field. Fans were expecting a life-sized statue with the franchise considering all his minute details; however, the presentation happened to be an utter failure. Although his daughter looked pleased by the gesture, his followers weren’t willing to accept the memorial.

It looked more like a Mannequin, and the entire structure was hollow-wired, wearing the old vintage commanders jersey. As soon as the curtains were removed, fans lost their early excitement and looked disappointed.

A mismatched attire with a Nike jersey, Reebok pants, and Adidas cleats fumed the fans because it all happened to contradict their expectations.

When the drape got pulled out, Taylor’s family were looking at each other, and that snippet went viral across social media garnering several reactions from the fans. Netizens pointed out several mistakes like the facemask wasn’t there, which happened to be his signature look.

Apparently, Taylor’s daughter (Jackie) was present at the ceremony. She looked quite emotional and appreciated the efforts put forward by the franchise and the fanbase. Jackie mentioned that she liked the soccer cleats, and it was something close to Taylor’s unique identity.

Sean Taylor gets a Mannequin, not a statue

Meanwhile, few of them justified the statue.
