Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is a pure football player. Comes off as a straight forward and chill dude. But recently he revealed that he struggles with the attention that comes along with being a pro-football player. Seemingly, the fame is part of the whole thing, but Burrow seems to employ a tunnel vision when it comes to football.

During his recent appearance on the Full Send Podcast, Burrow openly shares his thoughts about how he deals with all the attention he receives. He states, “I’m a big fan of football, but I don’t like everything that comes with it… I hate it. I get anxiety about going out and having to take pictures with all these people. I love it, and I love all the fans. And I’m you know appreciative of everybody, you know, but it is a lot sometimes.

While the podcast host Bob Menery points to how it is part of the nature of his job, the statements from Burrow are valid. The NFL has a huge fan following, and Burrow is among the brightest young stars, getting accustomed to his popularity. In the eyes of Bengals fans, Burrow appears to be all action when it matters most on the football field, which is crucial for their progress.

The rise of Joe Burrow to NFL superstardom

The Bengals QB was a man on a mission in 2021 as he electrified the franchise to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1989. Burrow along with his young Bengals team converted a franchise in disarray to nearly their first Super Bowl championship. The former No.1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, unfortunately, fell short with his Bengals teammates to the Los Angeles Rams in the dying minutes of the game.
