“No limitations” – Chicago Bears Star Confident About Team’s Defense

Chicago Bears began their second season under Matt Nagy on a positive note as they started the year with a 3-1 record. However, they went on to lose the next four games. Ultimately, the Bears finished their season with a 8-8 record. They failed to make the playoffs in 2019 as they finished third in NFC North.
Four Bears players made the Pro Bowl team last time out. They were linebacker Khalil Mack, wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, cornerback Kyle Fuller and safety, Eddie Jackson. It will be interesting to see how Matt Nagy can help get the most out of his defensive stars as they edge closer to the start of the 2020 season.

In a recent interview with Good Morning Football, Jackson spoke about how the Bears defense is eager to compete. The 26-year old also spoke about the COVID-19 situation surrounding preseason prep.

“Oh man, it feels great, it feels great. You know, we was anxious, everybody was anxious just to be back and right now the only way we can prepare is just to watch a lot of film…Like I said earlier we’re just ready to get back on the field and ready start competing…I feel like right now, we’re not putting any limitations on how great we can be,” Jackson told GMFB.
Jackson was a fourth-round pick in the 2017 NFL draft. He made the Pro Bowl team for two consecutive seasons in 2018 and 2019. He will be hoping to take that tally to three once the season resumes in September. Can reputed head coach Matt Nagy lead the Bears to the playoffs with another strong defensive masterplan this year?
