“Not challenging for me” – Broncos Rookie Jerry Jeudy Oozes Confidence Ahead of Debut

Jerry Jeudy entered the 2020 NFL draft as one of the top prospects on the drawing board. Jeudy was drafted in the first round (15th overall) by the Denver Broncos. Jeudy was terrific in his second year in Alabama. He bagged the Biletnikoff Award after he posted 1,300+ receiving yards in 2018.

Jeudy arrived in Denver with great expectations from fans and his teammates. He will definitely challenge for a starting spot in the Broncos offense in 2020. By the looks of it, it seems like Jeudy is up for the challenge.

Jerry Jeudy not fazed by the NFL as he gears up for rookie season

Here’s what the promising 21-year-old had to say in a recent team interview.

“I don’t really think it’s really challenging for me because the more you practice, the more reps you get and the easier it gets. I feel like us practicing right now is helping me adjust to the game. I know having OTAs and preseason games are a big deal, but I feel like if you’re not prepared when it’s game day, you’re not supposed to be out there. I feel like our coaches have been doing a good job preparing us to be ready for Sundays,” Jeudy told the team’s official website.

In a brief span of time, Jeudy has made quite an impression on his Broncos teammates. The promising rookie is in line to have a great debut season in the NFL as per his seniors’ words. Here’s what Jeudy had to say in response to the positive words from his seniors.

He said, “It means a lot because guys like that have like eight years in the league, so they’ve seen the best of the best. Going out there and saying those type of words — [I’m] really excited to hear that from them.”

Jeudy was a star during his college career at the University of Alabama. He crossed the 1,000 receiving yards mark over the last two college seasons. However, the NFL is definitely a whole new ball game, even for him. One can expect the 21-year-old to make a mark in his rookie year. Who knows, he might just walk away with the Rookie of the Year award.
