Baltimore Ravens proved why they have one of the highest-rated offense scores in the league in Week One. The Lamar Jackson-led outfit condemned Cleveland Browns to an embarrassing 38-6 loss last weekend. They will play away to Houston Texans on Sunday with the hope of extending their winning start to the 2020 NFL season.

On the flip-side, the Texans suffered a 20-34 loss to Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs on opening day. Deshaun Watson will be eager to prove a point when going up against one of the best teams in the league.

But can coach Bill O’Brien lead the Texans to pull off the unthinkable? Here’s a detailed look at both teams, along with injury updates and Week Two matchday predictions.

Houston Texans face a tough challenge in Week Two on home turf

The Deshaun Watson-led Houston Texans endured a tough start to their 2020 NFL campaign with a loss to the reigning champions, Kansas City Chiefs.

They are slated to face yet another Top-3 team this weekend in the form of Baltimore Ravens on home soil. Coach Bill O’Brien is yet to give the Texans offense a sense of purpose as they displayed a certain hesitation during the loss to the Chiefs.

Deshaun Watson will have WR Will Fuller for support, along with veteran RB David Johnson. The latter was decent against the Chiefs last week and could help the team if given more plays to run on Sunday.

Texans DE JJ Watt is a slight injury concern for this game but is still expected to make the starting line-up at the NRG Stadium on Sunday.

Baltimore Ravens eager to put in another strong offensive display in Texas

Reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson effectively proved why he is so highly rated in last week’s resounding win over the Browns. The Florida-born quarterback threw for 275 yards and completed three passing TDs in that game.

He was supported well by running backs, Mark Ingram and JK Dobbins. Ravens’ wideouts, Marquise Brown, Willie Snead, Mark Andrews, and Miles Boykin also put in a strong display and will be pivotal in Sunday’s outing against the Texans.

Coach John Harbaugh will back his Pro Bowl defensive duo of Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters to cause all sorts of trouble for the Texans. It will take a combined effort by the Ravens defense to thwart the aggressive Deshaun Watson, that too away from home in Texas.

Coach Harbaugh has instilled a winning mentality into his squad players over the last couple of years. They will not allow the Texans to rest at any moment of Sunday’s game at the NRG Stadium.

It’s going to be a battle of two young quarterbacks this weekend and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Game on!
