San Francisco 49ers will be on road. They will be meeting the Los Angeles rams in the SoFi Stadium this Sunday for the NFC Conference Championship. However, as per reports, the Niners may have a home feeling though being hosted by the Rams.

The two sides met during the season finale matchup in SoFi. The Stadium burst out with 49ers fans who dominated the stadium, and the Rams had to rely on silent counts while playing at home. The same might happen during the NFC Conference Championship Game the two sides meet again in the same venue.

The situation has grown so adverse that the Rams have requested their fans not to sell their tickets to the Niners, as it could seriously hamper the home experience for the players. “Don’t sell your tickets!” coach Sean McVay playfully said Monday.

While Matthew Stafford urged his fans at home not to let go of those tickets. “Hopefully,” the Rams quarterback said, “it’s one of those games where we come out and it’s heavy blue and yellow and we have a nice, live, loud crowd that makes it tough on them.”

According to Los Angeles Times, the ticket resale site Vivid Seats suggests that the Niners fans turnout could be close to 65 percent on Sunday which is 5 percent more than what it was in the regular-season finale. While according to another ticketing site TickPick, the Rams are trying to curb the away fans from buying the tickets.

It is certainly a very unusual circumstance faced by the Rams. If their strategy fails, it might motivate the Niners fans to get more aggressive on the field just as they did in Week 18. The game still has four days to go and it’s safe to assume that the ticket resale count will continue to grow. And it will not be surprising to see a huge contingent of San Francisco fans in LA.

It is somewhat bizarre to see such a craze among fans to dominate the pitch and give their team a higher chance to win. And since the stakes are high, it’s to be seen how the Rams deal with it.
