Rob Gronkowski Provides Latest Update on His Future With Tom Brady Amid 2022 NFL Draft

Once again, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be among the favorites to win it all next season. Unsurprisingly, it is primarily due to the return of Tom Brady following the cancellation of his retirement. However, the Bucs still want another key player back for the next season, and that is Rob Gronkowski.

Both Brady and Gronk have been a crucial part of this Bucs team for the last two seasons. They led the franchise to a Super Bowl triumph in the 2020-2021 season, which was their first season in Florida.

However, last season didn’t go as they would have liked. Primarily, because of all the things which happened around the team, like the whole Antonio Brown saga. The team was left short-handed in the most crucial part of the season, and hence they were knocked out by the eventual champions.

Even while missing many key players for the majority of last season, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were lethal alongside each other. The Tight-End has still not made up his mind on whether or not he will return to the NFL next season.

Rob Gronkowski drops a hint about a potential comeback in the NFL

Even though Rob Gronkowski claims that he hasn’t made up his mind yet for a return to the NFL, his fans don’t believe it. Everyone is optimistic about a Gronk and Brady reunion in Tampa for the upcoming season.

Rob Gronkowski spoke to the TMZ Sports, where he was asked about his return to the NFL. Gronk said, “We’ll see. I’m staying in shape a little bit. So, we’ll see if I don’t get too out of shape either. That won’t be good for me.”

It is highly probable that Gronk will return to Tampa Bay to play alongside his friend Tom Brady once again. Notably, the team will benefit quite a lot if Gronk comes back.

When Tom Brady is your team’s quarterback, anything less than a Super Bowl is considered an unsuccessful season. With Brady returning from his short-lived retirement, chances are pretty high that he will be hungrier than ever to win another Super Bowl.

If Brady is given his weapons alongside him, i.e., Gronk, Mike Evans, Godwin, etc., he can win another Super Bowl in Tampa. However, the availability of the players will play a huge part, just like it did last season.

Even though other teams have also got stronger, we can never count out Tom Brady. As a result, the Bucs will be in the mix for the Super Bowl in the upcoming season.
