Ryan Clark Thinks Kyler Murray is a Better Quarterback than Lamar Jackson

Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals have enjoyed a massive rise to fame in 2020 with some eye-catching displays across the league. The former Oklahoma Sooners man was joined by Houston Texans star DeAndre Hopkins this year.

Under Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury, the pair has produced some impressive displays over the last 9 odd weeks.

Murray, in particular, has definitely stepped up his game in his second full season in the NFL. The Heisman Trophy winner has thrown for 2,100+ yards with 16 passing TDs to his name.

Murray rushed for 544 yards in 16 games last season. This year, he already has 543 yards and 8 rushing TDs to his name in just 8 games.

Analyst ranks Kyler Murray above reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson

The return of veteran quarterback Cam Newton to the NFL with the New England Patriots meant that there is no shortage of dual-threat quarterbacks in the league this year.

With 2019 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson also playing at a decent level and the emergence of Murray and other youngsters in the league, the future of the NFL looks bright.

However, one will argue that after setting the bar so high last season, Jackson is falling short of his own standards in 2020. The Florida-born quarterback has thrown for 1,500+ yards with 12 TDs and 4 interceptions in 8 games thus far.

Apart from that, Jackson has also looked clueless in big-money games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers.
