Tom Brady turned 43 last week. Most athletes are enjoying life-after-sports when they are at that point in their respective careers but not Tom. The six-time Super Bowl winner is gearing up for a new challenge in yet another interesting chapter of his career.

After 20 years with New England Patriots, Brady announced his decision to join Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a two-year deal earlier this year. He put pen to paper on a two-year deal that is reportedly worth around $60 million with add-ons. However, things have not gone as planned for the three-time NFL MVP award winner.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has led to all sorts of complications for Brady ahead of his Tampa Bay debut. The veteran NFL quarterback could not train with his new teammates in the manner that he wanted.

“Like so many other things, the (2020) season is going to have an asterisk, and there are so many unknowns. If a player tests positive, is he going to be quarantined, or will they quarantine the whole team?” Favre told USA TODAY SPORTS.

Despite his age, Brady remains a top 10 NFL quarterback. Brady has thrown for 4,000+ yards for three consecutive seasons. However, his pass completion rate has dropped in recent years. The California-born athlete will be joined by former Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski. In addition to that, TB12 will also benefit from the Bucs’ fast-paced receivers – Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
