The NFC East is the worst-performing conference this season in the NFL. Of the 4 teams in the conference, not has more than 4 wins this season. All teams in the conference have put in poor performances at one point or another.

The Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, and Washington have been abysmal this season. No one is able to predict which team will be able to make the Playoffs.

Former Super Bowl winner Ryan Clarke spoke to ESPN about whom he thinks will emerge into the Playoffs from the NFC East. Clarke said he had no clue. “I don’t know? They all stink to me! You look at all of them. They’re all sad as hell.”

Clarke said that the biggest indicator of the NFC East’s quality is that no team is a standout favorite. “You know what is the greatest indictment of the NFC East?

“Any time, any one of them wins the game, we come here Monday morning and say ‘ That’s the team!’. ‘The New York Giants won the game? That’s the team! They’re going to win it! I know it!”

NFC East- Wild race ahead?

Clarke noted that Daniel Jones’ injury causes serious problems for the New York Giants and hampers their chances. He noted that Jones’ athleticism may have opened him up to getting injured very easily.

He said, “I think if Daniel Jones is healthy – By the way Daniel Jones hurt his hamstring. Only fast people hurt their hamstring.

“You never hear about guys like Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and people like that so that’s one thing. Dude is super athletic. But when you look at that team, that team really competes.”

Clarke pointed out that no team in the NFC East has consistency. “Just last week, we were looking at the Dallas Cowboys because they beat the Minnesota Vikings and saying the same thing. And then we see Washington this week play extremely well on Thanksgiving.”

Clarke said that he has no idea which team will come out of the NFC East, but said that any team with 6 wins could reach the Playoffs.

“So I really don’t know I wish I could get on here and sound really smart… I have no idea. Whoever gets to like 6-plus games, that’s going to be the team that wins it, and I have no idea who is good enough to get there.”

It will be an interesting race to the Playoffs for teams in the NFC East. Each team must improve their record if they have any hopes of continuing to the NFL Playoffs.
