The NFL universe is a cruel world, all things considered. It can put a player on a pedestal quite quickly. And with even more rapidness, it can forget even a Super Bowl champion. And an ex-teammate of the current Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson is not happy with that attitude.

After he got an All-Pro nod for a staggering ninth time in his career, NFL veteran Bobby Wagner has demanded respect. And his feat in the league does make his case quite strong.

Wagner joined the Los Angeles Rams before the 2022 season. He is a Super Bowl champion achieving the feat with Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks in 2013. The Seahawks deemed him a surplus of requirements and released him post the 2021 season after 10 seasons with them.

Wagner has had a stellar career so far in the NFL ever since joining the league as a second-round pick in the 2012 draft. He led the league in tackles twice. And apart from the nine All-Pro nods, he has featured eight times in the Pro Bowl. A career, worthy of respect by all accounts.
