The Los Angeles Lakers hooper Shaquille O’Neal is an inspiring man. He truly is one of those athletes who fill the room with laughter and sunshine. Shaq is involved in various charities, which makes him all the more likable. This may be why the NBA legend looks to another outstanding athlete. That is coach Deion Sanders.

On the Instagram story, Shaq shared with his fans an inspiring Tweet by Coach Prime. “…This is a journey you’re on not a weekend retreat…Winning is gained not given.” Deion Sanders always aspired to be the best.

He played with the Atlanta Falcons for the first five seasons of his career. Sanders is the only man to have played in the Super Bowl as well as the World Series.

He also played baseball for nine years. He played in left and center fields in 641 games with four different teams. Sanders was an outstanding base stealer and a mediocre hitter. His proficiency was visible in the NFL more. In 1996, he became the first regular starter on offense and defense with Dallas Cowboys in 34 years.

The basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal made an immediate request to Jerry Jones to hire the eight-time Pro Bowl coach. He said on The Big Podcast With Shaq, “I’m putting this out right now. Deion Sanders is the next head coach for the Cowboys. Jerry Jones, this message is from Shaquille O’Neal Incorporated, Deion Sanders for the next coach to Cowboys. You want the Dallas back rocking. Bring Deion to the fold. Deion will hold those players accountable. Deion Sanders for the next Cowboys coach.”

Because Superman Shaq is a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he certainly wants the team to get saved by the Eddie Robinson award winner. The Cowboys never won past the divisional round of the playoffs since the 1995 season.
