After two years on the sidelines, talented wide receiver Dez Bryant is back in the NFL with John Harbaugh’s Baltimore Ravens. The former Oklahoma State man made a name for himself while playing for Jerry Jones-owned Dallas Cowboys between 2010-2017.
After a short but unsuccessful spell with the New Orleans Saints in 2018, Bryant is aiming to end his NFL career on a high with the Ravens. But here’s what the veteran wideout had to say about his former team, who he will play against for the very first time on Tuesday night.

An injury/COVID-19 ridden Baltimore Ravens team – including Dez Bryant – will host NFC East strugglers Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. The game was rescheduled for Tuesday night in order to reduce COVID-19 related risks.
Despite all the chaos surrounding this tie, former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is looking forward to this high-octane matchup.

“For the most part, it’s water under the bridge. That’s two years. I had time to get myself together. You got to go forward with life because life isn’t going to wait on you. Time waits on no one. I had to get myself together and move forward.”

“It’s cool. I’m excited. I’m looking forward to it. A lot of those guys on that team, I know [and] I’m real good friends with. I think when we line up across from one another, it’s going to be fun. It’s going to be an exciting moment,” Bryant said via ESPN.

Despite the hype surrounding his acquisition, Bryant has yet to start a game for the Ravens in 2020. He has featured on three occasions so far and has 28 receiving yards on 4 receptions.

Prior to his move to New Orleans, the now 32-year-old was a fan favorite in Dallas. He had more than 7,400+ receiving yards and 70+ receiving TDs while playing for the Cowboys over the course of eight seasons. He remains a revered figure in Texas and is still in the good books of his former boss, Jerry Jones.
