Tom Brady and Superstitions Do Not Go Hand in Hand: “If That’s the Reason We’re Going to Lose, Then We Are Screwed”

Athletes and fans both have a heightened awareness of tradition. Many people have varied rituals they go through before getting on the field at sporting events. Even the fans will go to any extent to support the achievement of their team. However, situations are rather different from the perspective of Tom Brady. His being ritualistic does not add a square.

Superstitions have always been a big part of everyone’s lives, whether it be ordinary individuals, stars, or athletes. There are all sorts of fascinating pregame superstitions and routines out on the turf, whether Les Miles nibbling on grass, Sean Payton seeking a continuous supply of Juicy Fruit chew, or Marshawn Lynch getting a shot of Hennessey.

Tom Brady ain’t like other athletes

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback spoke alongside F1 driver Lewis Hamilton on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden,’ as part of IWC Watches’ Talking Big segment, in which the trio discussed superstitions. Host James Corden went on asking if Tom Brady had any superstitions; as he never met a professional athlete or celebrity who didn’t have one.

Whilst Hamilton confessed to having beliefs in the past, Brady was adamant that he has experienced nothing. To James’s surprise, he finally got to meet someone who didn’t have one. He could not really fathom the seven-time Super Bowl champion has no rituals. Even Hamilton chips in saying ‘same here.’

Brady then responded with a giggle.“If that’s the reason we’re going to lose, then we are screwed,” 

However, in other circumstances, Tom Brady will put on some music whenever he is low in energy to get into the game. He never wanted to get instinctively addicted to the practice. Since life isn’t automation, the QB requires anything distinct on certain days.

Brady has effectively transcended all logic in sustaining his standard of competition even in his mid-40s, although he has no superstitions. He’s in his 23rd NFL campaign and is still competing as well as he was in his initial days.
