On Thursday, the reporters asked Tom Brady about the ‘RTP’ call. TB12 approached the situation diplomatically. He agreed game officials are human and make mistakes, just like he does. Brady also thinks he might receive more Super Bowl rings if a few calls went in his favor.

Tom Brady mentioned, “I don’t think the referees are robots, I don’t think they’re trying to get it wrong. I don’t think they’re always gonna get it right. I feel bad for a guy when they get called something that probably shouldn’t be that way. Sometimes you’ve just got to shake it off. I’ve lost super Bowls because I thought they missed a call. You’re going to get some, you’re going to not get some. You hope they don’t come up but they come up. It’s sports.”

Tom Brady is correct in his observation. He is accurate that referees, like all humans, make mistakes. Despite what it appears, they are trying to make every call right.

Bad calls were not limited to one game. The Chiefs versus Raiders had a similar moment when DT Chris Jones got a call against him on Derek Carr. The NFL could limit the bad calls, but they may not permanently erase them from the game.

Tom Brady might face a fine for the apparent kick to Grady Jarrett

The NFL is taking the Tom Brady-Grady Jarrett situation under serious consideration. The moment saw Jarrett making a sack, but one can also witness TB12 attempting to kick the Falcons’ defensive athlete. As per Associated Press, the situation is under investigation on if it warrants a fine.

During the Falcons-Bucs game, Brady appeared to kick Jarrett when both players tried to stand up, but he didn’t connect. Kicking is punishable by a fine of $10,500 for the first violation and $15,500 for the second.
