Tom Brady Gets Bullied By Saints Fans On Twitter After Tyrann Mathieu Acquisition Becomes Reality

Tom Brady had a near phenomenal season in 2021. The Buccaneers did not give up to the very last second in the playoffs against the Los Angeles Rams. However, there was one particular game that made them rethink their entire playbook. It was the Week 15 game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints.
That game became the GOAT’s third shutout loss in his entire career. It was truly an embarrassing situation for the defending champions. Furthermore, the Bucs could not beat the division rivals Saints the previous season in both games. Adding salt to the wounds of the seven-time Super Bowl champion, the Saints have now acquired star safety, Tyrann Mathieu, to their Brady buster squad. And the Saints fans cannot help but bully the QB on Twitter.

Interestingly, Tom Brady, after his move to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, hasn’t maintained a winning record with the Saints. He has lost all his four regular-season games against them, winning just once in the 2021 postseason. And now signing his rival Tyrann Mathieu will only add a new set of challenges for the QB.
The pre-existing rivalry between Tyrann Mathieu and Tom Brady
It goes without saying that Tom Brady and the Kansas City Chiefs have built a special relationship throughout these few years. The two sides have met in the Super Bowl in 2021, with Tom Brady asserting his dominance in it. During the game, Tampa Bay Buccaneers demolished the Chiefs by 31-9.

Though the game became pretty much one-sided, both Brady and the Honey Badger indulged in a bit of trash-talking. At one point in the game, Tom Brady challenged Mathieu that he was coming for him. He did go after him, and then he stepped forward to remind him about it.

Clearly, the safety won’t let Brady score against him the next time they meet. And what better place could it be than Saints vs. Bucs.

Brady against the New Orleans Saints
Brady is known to be dominant on all the teams. Divisional rivalries are no joke to him. However, from the time he has arrived in Tampa Bay, things haven’t been in his favor whenever they meet the Saints. Since the 2020 season, Brady has played five games against the Saints, out of which he has lost four.
The only game that he has won against the Saints became the last game for Drew Brees in the 2021 playoffs. That scenario became the catalyst of the grudges that the two sides hold against each other. Now that the Saints have equipped themselves with a star safety. The game between them is going to be much-anticipated.
