Tom Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their 6th win of the season on Monday night. Bruce Arians’ boys marched away to a 23-25 win against the NFC East’s New York Giants.

The visitors trailed by 14-6 at halftime. However, Brady led the Bucs to a gritty comeback in the 2nd half to extend their winning streak to 3 games.

Experienced wide receiver Mike Evans starred for the Tampa Bay-based outfit last night. He registered 55 yards on 5 receptions with 1 receiving touchdown.

Mike Evans reserved words of recognition for Tampa Bay teammate Jaydon Mickens, who proved to be a threat last night. Mickens had 36 yards on 5 receptions as Brady and the Buccaneers made their way to a 2-point win.

He said, “Oh, he had a great week of preparation. He told me today he’s like, ‘I’m going to make some plays that showed y’all I could be out there with y’all.’

“And I told him, ‘You know you can play. Just do what you do.’ And he did that. He played great tonight like you said. And we appreciate it. I expect him to continue to do that…”

Evans further added that he hopes to see fans at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, sooner rather than later.

“Oh, my football, the two teams, tops one division. It’s gonna be a good one. At home, we’ll have some fans there. That’s what, that’s what we need.

“We need fans in the stadiums because it’s been some good football play this year. And, you know, it makes a lot of difference when the fans are out there getting to enjoy with us,” Evans told the press after the win.

The Buccaneers are now 6-2 after Monday’s win at the MetLife Stadium. With Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin, lurking in the shadows, will it be safe to say that the Buccaneers have the best wide receiving corps in the league at the moment?
