It was an embarrassing night for Bruce Arians’ Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They suffered their second loss this year at the hands of the Drew Brees-led New Orleans Saints.

Talented wide receiver Michael Thomas returned to the Saints starting lineup on Sunday as Antonio Brown made his Tampa Bay debut.

The Saints displaced Tom Brady and Co. from the summit of the NFC South Division table after last night’s emphatic 3-38 win at the Raymond James Stadium. New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees went 26 of 32 throwing for 222 yards and 4 touchdowns.

“Had to have a lot of young guys and play and they played well. We found ways to win. Tonight it was good to get everybody back, get ’em back in the mix.

“I think we slowly did that. We wanted to spread the ball around, we wanted to play complementary football. Can’t say enough about our defense, defense played phenomenal.

“And then offensively we were able to possess the ball, run the ball well, throw the ball well and, just, it was a great night of execution all the way around,” Brees said via NFL Network.
