The Cowboys once again stumbled during the NFC divisional round games on Sunday. This is the third time Dak Prescott suffered a humiliating playoff defeat in his career, especially against the 49ers. They also slayed them in the wild-card round last season. The entire fanbase started criticizing the quarterback for his failure, and an old video of former NFL running back LeSean McCoy is now taking rounds of the internet.

The two-time Super Bowl Champion called Dak Prescott “a*s” and lashed the passer for his inaccurate gameplays. Interestingly, the quarterback became a leader in throwing interceptions. His unexpected turnovers cost the franchise another Super Bowl run. In just nine starts this season, Prescott threw 11 interceptions, fuelling the criticisms even more.

The former Eagles running back appeared on FS1’s ‘Speak’ last month, where he analyzed the Cowboys vs Jaguars regular season game. America’s team experienced an overtime loss.

All thanks to the interception from Prescott that made all the difference in aiding Trevor Lawrence, snatching a win. McCoy thrashed the quarterback for his back-to-back turnovers and questioned whether he was actually worth $160 million. “Dak is a*s,” McCoy said.

“Can I say that on TV? ‘Cause he is a*s a*s. With the picks he’s throwing, he’s not even trying to fit the ball through the needles or smaller windows. These are like, easy passes. They run the ball well,” he said.

“What else can you do? I’m paying you $160 million, that’s how you play? If you tell me that’s outstanding, I don’t know what to say. I’m lost for words,” he added.

This snippet has gone viral on social media following the team’s playoff loss against the Niners. Apart from a touchdown in the second quarter, Prescott struggled to roll the ball downfield. Moreover, he also threw two interceptions, completing 23 of 37 passes for 206 yards.

After the post-game press conference, the two-time Pro Bowler expressed his disappointment and took the failure on his shoulder. “I’m disappointed in the way that I’ve played. Those guys in that locker room gave it all. Both sides of the ball. And put me in a position to go win the game. And I wasn’t able to do that,” he said.

Fans join hands with McCoy in criticizing Dak Prescott and the Cowboys

The Cowboys won their last Super Bowl in 1996, and since then, it has been heartbreak. Dak Prescott was someone upon whom the fans vested their hopes, but unfortunately, the result remained the same.
