Recently, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown openly criticized Colin Kaepernick and his charitable organizations. He unloaded on Kaepernick, calling his skillset a “trash” even if he decides to make a comeback to the NFL.
For the last few weeks, Brown indulged in releasing music albums with his friend Kanye West and enjoying his off-season as a free agent. However, there is no clarity on his future in the league as no teams have approached him for the upcoming season.

The quarterback turned civil rights activist Colin Kaepernick was one of the most controversial figures; few supported him in his campaign while some opposed him. In his recent sit-down interview with Naji of “Cigar Talk”, Antonio Brown made explosive comments against Kaepernick. The wide receiver says he wondered if his (Colin Kaepernick’s) community contributions have made a difference.

“He built a foundation,” Brown said. “What does it do, though? I’m being real. What superhero does he enforce? Who did he put on? Who did he help?” Brown kept on questioning.
Well, the 34-year-old former San Francisco 49ers did involve in various charitable donations and founded his “Know Your Rights Camp” to help in the fight for social justice. Millions of dollars were reportedly donated to the cause, with many celebrities joining him in making contributions.

In the interview, Brown also criticized Kaepernick for filing a lawsuit against the NFL and reaching a settlement in 2019.
“He took a deal,” Brown said. “We don’t feel sorry for you. You took the deal. F*** outta here. You took the money, the commercials. We don’t see you outside. We don’t see him in the hood. He doesn’t do anything. Like, we cool. But, nah, we ain’t even stan Kaepernick.” Brown added in the interview.
It was in 2016 when Kaepernick played professional football for the last time. Despite getting an official encouragement from the NFL, none of the teams have signed him for the upcoming season.

Colin Kaepernick donated more than $1 million to charity
After creating a famous “know your rights” camp, Colin Kaepernick famously donated around $1 million to many groups across the country. The foundation vows to advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass mobilization, and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.

For his campaign, celebrities like Steph Curry, Snoop Dogg, Serena Williams, Chris Brown, T.I., and Meek Mill joined hands by making one-time donations of $10,000 to the foundation. Tennis Legend Serena Williams was also part of the initiative.
