Nick Kyrgios and Mitch Robinson to Join Two Twitch Streamers for a Game of Warzone

Call of Duty Warzone has been one of the biggest successes of 2020. Since its launch in March, the game has made a name for itself among the best battle royales. It’s fast-paced combat and thrilling gameplay make it one of the best modern games. Even popular tennis star Nick Kyrgios is set to drop into Verdansk with fellow Australian footballer Mitch Robinson.

Call of Duty ANZ’s official account on Twitter made this announcement.

Nick Kyrgios has been playing Warzone for a while now

This will be exciting to watch considering this is not the first time he has played Warzone. Nick has his own Twitch channel and has played Warzone for a while now. Earlier, a highlights reel showcased how Mitch and Nick had dominated their opponents in Verdansk, and they will look to do the same again.

The global pandemic has forced everyone to stay indoors. In this testing time, gaming and streaming have been the saving grace for people looking to stay entertained and have fun. Apart from Nick, athletes across different sports have taken up streaming.

Recently, soccer superstar Neymar Jr. streamed Counter-Striker: Global Offensive with his Brazilian mates. Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero also tried his hand at different games on his Twitch channel. In addition to this, F1 star Lando Norris has also been practicing his aim in Warzone quite extensively.

From the looks of it, Lando is a pretty good player. Apparently, he was taught by pro Cod player Tommey. Lando has also had banter with streamers like CouRage and TimTheTatman. Clearly, gaming transcends beyond boundaries and across all sports as well.

If a line-up of sports personalities wasn’t enough, popular streamer xQc played Warzone with rapper Wiz Khalifa. The duo had a good time playing together and gave the fans some thoroughly entertaining moments.

Clearly, this is a good sign for Warzone considering a lot of big-name celebrities are playing it. Activision has definitely got it right with the game. All that remains now is to deal with hackers in the game and it’ll be a near-perfect battle royale.
