The Sunday night session at Miami Gardens, witnessed an unusual spectator-player interaction during the Australian, Nick Kyrgios’ third-round match against  Dusan Lajovic. In general, Nick Kyrgios is not unknown when it comes to contentions and conflicts in tennis. His patented underarm serves, no-look forehands and other few acts in the match were overshadowed by the taunts from a spectator.

A verbal spat infuriated Nick Kyrgios as the spectator commented on the Australian’s haircut. “Did you get a free ticket? Why are you watching me on a Sunday night?” Kyrgios yelled to the stands. “You got nothing else to do on a Sunday night?”

The spectator kept blabbering and Nick Kyrgios said, “It’s Sunday night and you’re still out here watching me. What are you doing? Bro, where’s your fam?” As the dialogue exchange between the two was escalating, the security escorted the man outside the playing arena.

“Idiots in the crowd … I had a bit of fun with it. I knew I was going to get him kicked out. I loved it. I think tennis needs stuff like this. I don’t mind. If anything, he got me going. Got me motivated a little bit more. I think the crowd saw some good tennis,” Nick Kyrgios added.

Later, Kyrgios publicized the despicable texts from the spectator (who sent him privately) and underscored the abuse which the professional athletes face. There were filthy comments absolutely indecent which claimed racist remarks and also stated Kyrgios to be homosexual. The act was simply outrageous and depicted the presence of the tapered mentality people in this world. The messages also gave an Indian tag to the Canberra-native.
