Venus and Serena Williams do not let their on-court rivalry affect their love for each other. The two sisters share a special bond with each other on and off the court. The Williams’ sibling rivalry is an inspiring display of healthy competition powered by love, affection, and respect for each other. It is a different and rare kind of a relationship.

“She is the only person I will talk to after I lose” – Serena Williams

Serena Williams spoke about her relationship with sister Venus and what makes their bond so special. Serena and Venus have other siblings as well from their parents’ previous marriages and they all share a close connection. However, these two have a different, a deeper kind of connection because of tennis.

“For me, I can say for sure that tennis really binds me and Venus together because no one in the world on this planet understands what I go through and it’s because she’s been there and she’s won as many titles as I have,” Serena said while chatting with Naomi Campbell

“Nobody else has that experience. So for me, it’s like a special bond. Yeah we’re sisters and we’re really close and we’ve always been really close,” she added.

“But this is another level in a professional world outside of growing up together and being siblings that just takes it to a whole other level. She is the only person I will talk to after I lose, not my husband nobody,” Serena concluded.
