The Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson who will play in the fifth-year option is set to become a free agent by the end of the 2022 season. Thus it becomes necessary for both the Ravens and the quarterback to choose their respective futures. However, Jackson seems to have already racked up his plans off the field by starting a restaurant and selling his own branded merchandise.

The news got public just a few days ago wherein the 26-year-old is trying his hands at various business avenues like other quarterbacks in the pro football league. The Louisville alumnus is eying to become a restaurant owner to fall back on if things go awry in his NFL career. On May 18, trademark attorney Josh Gerben revealed that Lamar Jacksons filed two new trademarks. One for the restaurant and another for a brand logo that resembles his Jersey number.

1. PLAY ACTION SOULFOOD AND MORE
2. YOU 8 YET?
The filings indicate that @Lj_era8 intends to open a restaurant using the name and slogan.” Gerben wrote on Twitter.

Moreover, the quarterback also acknowledged the speculation by replying to a Twitter user.

First of all, Lamar Jackson doesn’t have an agent to look after his trade or contract talks. He is his own agent. The signal-caller likes to deal with business on his own. So where the discussions are at the moment is unknown territory for the media.
