Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder will be playing the second of their back to back games on Friday with the first game ending up with a 112-107 win for the Lakers. In that game, LeBron James became the first player in NBA history to record a triple-double against all NBA teams, after registering 25 points, 10 assists, and 11 rebounds. What has been impressive from LeBron this season is his intense defense with increased stamina. The game also saw Anthony Davis scoring 34 points.

During the Thunder’s loss, Dennis Schroder converted on 12 of his 20 attempts from the floor and registering 31 points.  Danilo Gallinari finished with 25 points, while Chris Paul added 10 assists.

Tuesday’s victory took the Lakers record to 12-2 this season, while Oklahoma City’s record reads a not so impressive 5-8.

The game between Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers will see two teams who have concentrated on defence. Hence, a low scoring game may be expected on Friday. The LeBron James and Anthony Davis partnership has come good so far in the season, and will be crucial for the upcoming game.

Injury updates & team news-

Lakers will be starting the first of their four game road trip, and according to reports, Avery Bradley is set to miss all four. Anthony Davis seemed to have a slight shoulder niggle, but is expected to be back for Friday’s game. Alex Caruso’s right calf strain has listed him as probable. Kyle Kuzma, who got hit in the eye last game, is also expected to be back for the upcoming game.

Oklahoma City do not seem to have any major injury concerns. Guards Andre Roberson and Hamidou Diallo are listed as out.

Predictions-

It might be a low scoring contest, but the Lakers have more than enough firepower to outscore Oklahoma City.
