After Prime Video Deal, MMA Giant One Championship Announces Another Streaming Partnership Targeting Over 200 Million Viewers

There are many MMA promotions worldwide that are looking to make their mark over the global MMA circuit. The Asia-based global MMA promotion, ‘ONE’ championship, is also among them. Based primarily in Singapore, ‘ONE’ championships entered the MMA scene on 14 July 2011. The boss behind this franchise is Chatri Sityodtong, who made tremendous efforts to gain viewership and revenues. ONE now ranks among the world’s top 10 largest sports media properties in terms of viewership and revenues.

The ‘ONE’ championship fights have already gained a good following on the Asian continent. To further extend its viewership far and wide into the US, ‘ONE’ had already joined hands with ‘Amazon Prime’. The fans of ‘ONE’ championships can now watch their live events on Amazon Prime. Reports of many more ventures of ‘ONE’ championship agencies and leading media houses have surfaced recently.

Chatri Sityodtong informed about ONE’s collaboration with Globo

Sityodtong announced his new venture with ‘Globo’ for the broadcast of ONE championship fights in Brazil on Facebook. He quoted, “Globo is the new home of ONE in Brazil! Globo is the largest commercial television network in Latin America, with a reach of more than 200 million viewers across its free-to-air, digital, and pay TV channels.”

He also announced that the fights of ‘ONE’ championship will be “shown live in prime time in Brazil”.

The ‘ONE’ championship management has struck quite a few significant deals with broadcasting houses this year. After their collaboration with Amazon Prime for broadcasting on the Northern American continent, ‘ONE’ also joined hands with ‘beIN SPORTS’ for broadcasting their events in the Middle East.

Sityodtong also said that “ONE is already broadcast live on free-to-air, digital, and pay TV platforms in 154 countries around the world.

Every MMA fan knows that taking the responsibility to popularize an entire franchise cannot be completed by a single individual. It requires a team of like-minded people committed to the goal.

He also presented his opinion, saying that “It is only Day ONE of this magical adventure”. It was apparent that he had set his goals to take ‘ONE’ championships to the most viewed MMA franchise in the entire world.
