British striking star Liam “Hitman” Harrison isn’t bothered by ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao’s choice words about him in the lead-up to their co-main event World Title meeting at ONE on Prime Video 1 on August 26.

The longtime king recently made his views on his upcoming opponent known via a message he posted on his Instagram account.

Nong-O sounded off by saying that he is “coming for blood,” and he went on to warn the Brit that it would be unwise for him to mistake his kindness for weakness.

Harrison shared his views on his rival’s words in a recent interview with ONE Championship, and, suffice to say, he isn’t happy.

“I don’t give an f— what he writes on the internet. It’s empty threats. He’s wasting his time if he wants to try and intimidate me by writing anything like that or carrying on,” the Leeds native said.

“Like he said, don’t mistake kindness for weakness. But we both know what’s going to happen when the bell goes. You’re going to get two pitbulls going at each other.”

“Hitman” isn’t one to play mind games. The eight-time World Champion, who sports a 90-24-2 record, prefers to let his performances do the talking instead.

Liam Harrison is ready to establish himself as Muay Thai GOAT

He knows that Nong-O is undoubtedly one of his toughest career tests to date, so his focus is fixed on putting on the best performance possible on August 26.

“I know how good he is. He knows how good I am. I know how dangerous he is. He knows how dangerous I am. There’s no need for it,” Harrison said.

“Yeah, we both respect each other, and we’ll be friendly, but as soon as the bell goes, that’s it. It’s strictly business, the same as any other fight.”

Beating Nong-O will be a significant victory for the legendary British striker, especially since he wants to cement his status as the UK’s Muay Thai GOAT.

But if he doesn’t leave the Circle with the gold on his shoulder on this occasion, “Hitman” believes he has already done enough throughout his two-decade-long career to claim that spot.

“Winning the ONE title will solidify that [GOAT status]. I think it’s already solidified, to be fair, but I think when I win that fight, nobody will be able to touch me,” Harrison said.
