“I Have Never Been Impressed With Bhullar” – Reinier De Ridder Eyes Third ONE World Title Against ‘Not That Spectacular’ Heavyweight Champion

Reinier de Ridder has wrecked through the competition in ONE Championship. Even since his arrival at the Home of Martial Arts, ‘The Dutch Knight’ looked on a different level. In his short six-bout career in the promotion, de Ridder has achieved the dual champion status. However, he’s not content with two ONE World Titles.
The Dutch fighter is constantly looking for new challenges. In pursuing the same, the 31-year-old fighter recently took on the Submission Grappling specialist Andre Galvao and left the ONE Circle unbeaten & put on an impressive performance as well.

The double champion said, “I have never been impressed with Bhullar. His movement or his takedowns are not really that spectacular, striking’s not that spectacular.”
However, ‘The Dutch Knight’ appreciated one quality about ‘Singh.’ “The guy has a heart on him,” said de Ridder. “And he has real cardio. He can go long; He’s very strong; He’s got great pressure.”

The undefeated fighter is looking at Vitaly Bigdash, his next opponent, despite the latter struggling on the scales. That said, he offered that since both the Russian fighter, Bigdash & Arjan ‘Singh’ Bhallar’s unification bout partner, Anatoly Malykhin, could be out for some time. In the meantime, he should fight for his third title.

However, if the Heavyweight Championship unification bout finds its way inside the ONE Circle, the 31-year-old fighter is putting his money after knowing what round the fight would end.

Reinier de Ridder said, “If it ends early, it has be to Malykhin; if it goes five, Bhullar is going to be taking the win.”
Anyhow, whoever wins, de Ridder will be eventually facing either or both of these two big Heavyweight fighters.
