“I Am Swinging for the Fences” – Jeremy Stephens Is ‘Going for the Kill’ at PFL 4 Against Myles Jury

PFL 4 2022 marks the return of Jeremy Stephens. ‘Lil’ Heathen’ is one of the most exciting fighters in the promotion right now. At PFL 4, Stephens will face Myles Jury in the main card opener. During the media day for the event, Stephens gave his thoughts on his opponent while issuing a warning.

When asked what Stephens thinks of his opponent, the fighter replied, “He’s dead. He’s dead. That’s it.” This statement by Stephens shows the fighter is preparing for a war, which will be a treat for the fans to see.

‘Lil’ Heathen’ further added, “I am swinging for the fences…the moment that bell rings, you know if he’s not out of there in the first minute, I’m getting him out of there in the second.”

In round 1, Stephens came out and landed a couple of right hooks, which seemed to garner the attention of Collard. However, as the round progressed, ‘Cassius’ pressured Stephens and started landing his strikes. While ‘Lil’ Heathen’ had his moments in the round, Collard had better volume and accuracy.

Round 2 was similar to an extent. While the power of Jeremy Stephens was visible, ‘Cassius’ was once again more accurate. Also, Collard had better volume and accuracy. Towards the end of the round, the ware became visible on the face of Stephens.

The 3rd and last round of the fight was close and competitive. While Stephens battled through his toughness, Collard slowed down too. ‘Cassius’ was connecting with a lesser frequency. After three hard-fought rounds, all three judges scored the bout 30-27 in the favor of Clay Collard. MMA fans around the world loved this fight between Stephens and Collard.
