Tiger Woods is one of the greatest Masters champions ever. Only Jack Nicklaus has won more titles at Augusta National than Woods, but the latter unfortunately won’t be participating in 2021. As Woods continues to recover from the injuries sustained in the car crash, the feeling about not being at Augusta is killing him. He even texted Justin Thomas about the pain he’s going through.
Justin Thomas and Tiger Woods are thick friends. The duo resides in Jupiter, Florida, and has a lot in common. Thomas is one of Woods’ closest compatriots on the PGA Tour, and the 82-time PGA Tour champion sent a grieving text to Thomas ahead of the Masters Champions Dinner.

Tiger Woods completed one of the greatest comebacks in sporting history when he won the 2019 Masters. He stunned the patrons at Augusta National two years ago, but the golf legend will not be a part of the field in 2021.
Woods always shares a lot with his fellow tour pros. In that regard, Justin Thomas is one of his closest friends. Thomas recently informed that he recently visited Woods at his residence to check in on his health. Of course, Woods was dejected that he will not play at the 2021 Masters or be a part of the Champions Dinner.

“We texted Friday morning and he said it’s kind of starting to set in. He’s bummed he’s not here playing practice rounds with us, and we hate it, too,” Thomas said about Woods.
Furthermore, Thomas, the 2021 Players Champion, also explained how he needed external support to keep going when he faced injury troubles in his career. That phase taught him a lesson and he wants to impart his knowledge to others as well.
“That’s just what I want to do for (Tiger). Like, dude, I’ll do anything you want. If you need me to help out with your kids, I can do that. If you’re craving McDonald’s and you want me to bring it over, dude, I don’t care, I’m here for you and I’ll help out however I can,” Thomas expressed.
The Masters honored Woods at the Champions Dinner
Tiger Woods was gutted about not being a part of the traditional Champions Dinner as the 2021 Masters. The golfing great also posted a tweet about the same:
I’ll miss running up @DJohnsonPGA’s bill at the Champions Dinner tonight. It’s still one of my favorite nights of the year.

In return, the Masters rendered a tribute to the five-time winner in the best way possible. At the champions dinner table, a seat was left empty in honor of Tiger Woods.

Everyone is missing Tiger Woods at the Masters this week. This just denotes the reverence he’s earned on the tour with his excellence.
