The Process has been going on for a while now in Philadelphia. It was about time that it started yielding some wins for the 76ers. After persevering through 3 years of rebuilding and a string of injuries, the Sixers are finally ready to shake some ground. The latest addition to their roster, sharpshooter J.J. Redick will add some much needed outside shooting to their offence. Add Markelle Fultz‘s solid all-around game to that and you’ve got yourself a deadly back-court.

Coming to the front-court, we have Joel Embiid and Dario Saric, both healthy and game ready. Although Embiid has only played 31 games in his entire 3 year NBA career due to injury, he is still pretty young and is expected to play the way he played this past season. He averaged 20 points and 8 rebounds in 31 games. If he stays healthy and doesn’t develop any knee-issues, he could become the next great big-man in the NBA.

All of this couldn’t possibly have taken place at a better time. Two of the most established players in the eastern conference, Jimmy Butler and Paul George will now play in the western conference. The eastern conference has watered down considerably. The Philadelphia 76ers now have a legit chance of not only making the playoffs but also getting out of the first round.

There simply isn’t a player quite like Ben Simmons. A 7 feet tall point guard who can do it all: score like a forward, pass like a point guard and rebound like a big. One player who is very similar to Simmons is Giannis Antetokounmpo; lead the Milwaukee Bucks to the playoffs this year, leaving teams like Pacers and Bulls behind. So the Sixers can certainly make the playoffs and shake the eastern conference, much the way the Bucks did.
